The Many Faces of Indiana Rose

Indiana is so expressive and sometimes she makes the funniest faces.  I guess she gets that from me!!  Yesterday, I was taking pictures of Indy's cute outfit and these are what I got.  I thought it was super funny so I wanted to share them with everyone.  I can only imagine what she is thinking...

I don't know about this outfit mommy...

Are we done yet, I am so tired and it is time for my nap...

How can I get you parents?  I will find a way, give me time...

What the hell are you doing Mommy?  Those are some pretty ugly faces you are making...

Ok, that face was pretty funny!!!

Indiana Update-8 Weeks Old

Indiana is growing like a weed and is a whole 9lbs.  She is finally fitting into most of her newborn clothes and now I have options, which make me very happy.

In my last post I said that Indy had another eye episode, but this time it didn't get better for over 2 weeks, so we took her to see an Pediatric Opthamologist.  He said that she definitely has clogged tear ducts and hopefully this will be the end of the goopy, runny eyes.  If it returns, then we know it is the lining of her tear ducts that are irritated and she will eventually grow out of it.  I guess only time will tell.

She has stared smiling and really interacting with both Rocky & me.  I was so happy the first time she smiled at me, even though Rocky was still convinced that it was gas.  She definitely doesn't have gas now and is really smiling at us (see picture below).  She loves to mimic our faces and always has this "deep in thought" look on her face, so we jokingly say that she is plotting our death.  :)

We have our next check up in two weeks so I will know how her development is going, but I sure that everything will be just fine.

All dressed up for a party.  Indy's first dress.

Indy's first smiling picture...how cute!

Bath Time Is Fun!!

Indy has finally found the wonderfulness of bath time.  (I am not sure that wonderfulness is actually a word, but for this blog we will say it is!)  She would scream her head off every time we tried to give her a bath, but I finally found the trick.  I have to get into the bath with her, which isn't always the quickest way to bathe her, but it seems to make her a very happy baby.  She hasn't started splashing yet, but she loves to be bounced in the water and make faces at mommy while I holds her.  It is a fun time for both of us.
