A Little Update....

So it has been about a month since my last post and things are looking up at the Bomgaars House.  Rocky's arm is getting better every day and I can't believe it has been 3 months since that dreaded day.  His arm is still weak, but he continues to do his exercises and it seems to be loosening up and he is gaining mobility all the time.  That is definitely good news!!!

We went to San Francisco a few weeks ago to see my friend Alex and we had so much fun!!!  We saw his musical, went to the "Winchester Mystery House" and had a grown up dinner with some friends which is something we NEVER do.  It was a lot of fun and I was so happy to see Alex again...I miss him SO MUCH and wish he was closer!!!  Here are some of the pictures from our fun trip:

As for me...I have good news and bad news.  Which do you want first?  Well the good news is that I saw the Perinatologist last week and he is not concerned about any of the Lupus medicine I am taking hurting the baby when we get pregnant.  That is a big load off my shoulders and it was nice to hear him say that we "should" have a normal pregnancy.  I am crossing my finger!!! The bad news is...just a small thing...I am not really ovulating.  We don't know why right at this moment, but we are going to find out soon.  It could be all the medicine I am on, my Lupus or just my body in general...we don't know, but he wants to lower my medicine to the minimum dosage I need to be on to be controlled and then have me see a Fertility Doctor so he ca ovulate me.  This could be as easy as taking medicine to ovulate me or something more...only time will tell.  All of this sounds like great fun to me, but whatever it takes to have a healthy Bomgaars baby!!!

Rocky started working from home this week and I really hope he likes it, because we are saving so much money this way.  With gas prices sky high and not having to drive all the time, we are saving a minimum of $300 a month which will really help us right now.  I think Rocky is just worried about feeling isolated which is understandable, but I really hope he starts to enjoy it soon!!!

Thats all for now...  :)
